I have been using the Nespresso Vertuo Next for a couple of weeks and I am very satisfied with it. It is a compact and elegant pod coffee machine that can make five different sizes and styles of coffee, from espresso to mug. It has a simple and eco-friendly design that uses recycled materials and pods. It also has a smart barcode system that adjusts the brewing parameters for each pod.

The Nespresso Vertuo Next is very easy to set up and use. I just plugged it in, filled the water tank, and inserted a pod. The machine scanned the barcode on the pod and automatically selected the right amount of water, temperature, and pressure. I just pressed the button and waited for about 40 seconds for my coffee to be ready. The machine also ejected the used pod into a bin that can hold up to 10 pods.

The coffee quality is excellent, with a smooth and rich taste and a thick crema on top. The pods come in a variety of flavors and intensities, from mild to strong. I can choose between espresso (40ml), double espresso (80ml), gran lungo (150ml), mug (230ml), or alto (414ml). I can also use the Nespresso app or Alexa to control the machine remotely or order more pods online.

The Nespresso Vertuo Next is not flawless, though. It is more expensive than other pod machines, both in terms of the initial cost and the ongoing pod cost. It also requires official Vertuo pods, which are not widely available in stores. The pods are not biodegradable, so I have to recycle them through Nespresso’s program, which can be inconvenient. The machine does not have a built-in milk frother, so I have to buy a separate one if I want to make lattes or cappuccinos.

Overall, I think the Nespresso Vertuo Next is a great pod coffee machine that can make delicious coffee with minimal fuss. It is ideal for people who want convenience, variety, and quality in their coffee. It is not suitable for people who want more control, customization, or affordability in their coffee.
